LEARN TO MACHINE SEW - 3 - 3.5hr MINI COURSE - TOTE BAG - EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - ADULT WORKSHOP
The perfect course for those who haven’t sewn or had limited lessons. Even useful for those who have started Year 9 textiles and need more practice.
Depending on the sewing level of the participants we can start with a basic overview and sewing lesson. Three hours is allocated to this project level but please be aware an additional 30 minutes is probably required for a group of 4. (Group of 3 should be fine with 3 hours). If you are a newbie I will help you complete the bag if needed.
In this class you will learn to cut out and sew a tote bag, including learning how to sew French seams! Printed and plain fabrics used, but feel welcome to bring 1m of printed heavy weight cotton (Spotlight’s buzoku cotton duck fabric is perfect).
We provide the sewing machines to use for this lesson.

NEW DATES WILL BE ADDED ONCE WAITLIST IS FULL - Please email your available times on a Friday or weekends to Liz at firstname.lastname@example.org or get some friends together and book your own sewing party!
